L. Meïko Touraille

is an artist and performer based in the Jura. Their work focuses primarily on performance and writing, both of which explores the intricate relationship among symbolism, perception and language — be it verbal or non-verbal — as to draw up a map of human possibilities.

Random things I do on the side :

  • Leather crafting

Building book covers, bags, clothes, from up cycled or self-made leather. Repurposing old leather goods or clothes. Selling them “prix libre” or exchanging them.

  • Bookbinding

Self-made notebooks and editions, self-published through Affreux et Absents and spread around the public space and your local squats and off-spaces.

  • Weird-musical-instruments making

Repurposing garbage and cheap materials into experimental music instruments, such as pipes, guitars and drums.
