Collectives
In a world fragmented by individualism, collective practices are vital.
Everyone and especially artists should coagulate with their peers in their local environments, based on affinity and collaboration, as to reach towards common grounds. Far from being an act of isolation and inbreeding, collective practices build bridges amongst different communities, multiplying their potential of action, and demultiplexing their imaginaries. In doing so, they redefine the norms and values that shape their social interactions and their behaviours, they reclaim their collectivo-personal power.

The A.L.C. collective, founded in 2022, regroups three artists: Anna Zimante, Charlotte Kremberg and L. Meïko Touraille, respectively based in the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. They were brought together during their exchange semester at KABK, in The Hague, and started working with the absurdity of social structures and human behaviors, trying to find their way around it from within. "We discuss, we agree and disagree, and we throw it away as an art piece, otherwise we would go crazy in this world!”

The Theater of the Sensorial is an association founded in 2024 in Geneva (CH) by Madeline Marone et L. Meïko Touraille.
Through this collective the two artist begin a long term exploration of the senses and their impact on people, be them performers or viewers.
Their approach uses social and anthropological mechanisms to curate artistic instances where the margins between public and artist disappear, while playfully engaging with the instinct, feelings and states of consciousness of both parties.
